We have built a robust PPE supply chain that will eliminate price gouging and high defect rates, while allowing consistent access to products. Starting with our partnerships with FDA-registered facilities to our international freight forwarders and finally to our fulfillment partner Pantheon Industries, we have created an insulated and redundant network that will help get life-saving safety equipment back in the hands of those who need it most.

Safety products are manufactured in clean rooms under strict supervision. At our fulfillment center, we sanitize shipments using a 3-part process including electrostatic sprayers and UV-C lighting. A final QA process is then performed to ensure safety of PPE.

Because of the current need for PPE across the globe, many supply chains are overwhelmed - most traditional channels running near or at capacity.

Our exclusive relationships with our suppliers allow us greater freedom to maneuver these spikes when they do hit.

 

UMS has adopted a strategy that will help to mitigate this risk and keep the supply chain running smoothly. 

 

We will make every attempt to keep inventory available and price fluctuation at a minimum.  Some of the tools we have in place include:

  • Weekly deliveries for fast-moving SKUs
  • Inventory level alerts via email
  • Ceiling placed on total quantity per order
  • Large orders placed via pre-sale

Pre-Pay / Subscription Service

We have created a subscription service that will help you better control your PPE usage and ‘burn rate.’  

We help you estimate your monthly PPE totals and then secure short/long term agreements with our suppliers. This will allow you to do the follow:

  1. Reduce Costs – by buying in bulk, you will bring the overall costs down for your PPE
  2. Better Manage PPE Usage – scheduled deliveries with fixed inventories with help you to control PPE costs
  3. Guaranteed Pricing & Deliveries – you lock in pricing ensuring that you avoid any spikes that may occur or even disrupt the supply chain

    Who is behind Urgent Medical Supply?

    A group of doctors, surgeons, entrepreneurs and farmers who saw their communities suffering and decided to do something about it. As the world’s economies have been put on pause, our networks sat idle. Pooling our resources, we were able to establish a supply chain and begin shipments of PPE in record time.

    Why are your prices so much lower than other sites?

    Price gouging is indefensible in the midst of this crisis. We are providing this service for our neighbors, our families and our medical professionals.  By working with Pantheon as our warehousing and fulfillment partner (one of the largest non-profit organizations in Wisconsin), we have been able to cut costs and also ramp up donations for safety equipment in our communities. 

    How do I calculate my monthly PPE "Burn Rate"?

    We have an Excel file that you can download on our site that was created by the CDC to help you forecast what your overall needs will be. Additional, you can contact us at (877) 792-9777 and one of our staff will be able to assist you over the phone. 

    Can I get copies of the certifications for your factories?

    Absolutely. As we mentioned above, transparency is a cornerstone of this project. FDA registrations, GMP/ISO certifications and other documentation are available upon request. Additionally, we encourage you to find out more about our processes throughout our supply chain implemented to ensure the safety and quality of each piece of safety equipment we delivery. 

    Should I look into the Subscription Program for my PPE needs?

    We cannot guarantee we will always have inventory available through the website due to the tumultuous nature of the market. As a result, we strongly encourage to participate in the subscription program. It will save you time and money, but most importantly will provide you with security knowing your PPE will be delivered in a timely fashion on a monthly/quarterly basis.
