Love at First Sight
We Pirates first came to the Vallarta Isles 15 years ago…we feasted, drank much rum, and danced on the streets. Then we found Las Caletas. And we knew that one day, when the time was right, would return with great Pirate Tales.
If this be ye first time to Mexico, ye be in good hands! Puerto Vallarta is one the larger cities that still be showin’ it’s true Mexican roots. Beautiful city it be – safe, friendly and very easy to travel in. Ye be partaking in thar local delicacies like kings & queens, while looking out at gorgeous beaches as far as they eye can see…
Thar be plenty of ways ye scalawags get into mischief in Puerto Vallarta, but as we Pirate’s say – to each his own….
El Malecon
The Malecon is where everyone goes and is the center of Vallarta. You’ll find artist and street vendors; and at night– on the plaza in front of the church, there always be music playin’. To immerse yourself in Vallarta and Mexico, you best be talking a walk down the Malecon.
Secrets Resort be situated next to El Malecon so you be right in the heart of the Romantic Zone – ye can’t beat the shopping and street vendors. The food & drink be out of this world!
Beaches
We would be remiss if we didn’t make any proper recommendations for ye! Below are some of our favorites that will help ‘tide’ ye over…
Playa de los Muertos – Deadmen’s Beach be a top spot and is in the Romantic Zone so ye can walk from the hotel.
Concha Chinas – it be a most romantic place with golden sand and pristine waters. Located just south of the downtown area.
Playa Camarones – located in the heart of the hotel zone, it be the beach to visit for water activities, and where the locals be frequenting.
Garza Blanca – gorgeous beach located in a preserve on the way to Las Caletas (which is in our #1 spot)
Booking Activities
Thar be a plethora of adventures to be had in Puerto Vallarta. The zip lines be fierce. Many gorgeous trails to hike are close to the downtown area. And the snorkelin’ be unreal.
